Message: I bought my Volvo elsewhere, but brought it here for service for the first time. Everyone in the service department was exceptionally helpful and transparent when I brought my car in. They needed to order a part and worked quickly to get me a loaner, even letting me have a brand new car while mine was in.

Message: Purchasing my first Volvo was a very nice experience. On a whim, we visited Rickenbaugh to see what was available. I was ecstatic that they had the XC 40 and trim that I was in love with (the lava) and the amazing sound system. We purchased it that day after the test drive. And that is why they get 2 stars, because I want to be fair.. However, the service department is less than desirable. It is very hard to get in touch with them. Many times I left messages and was not contacted. I have had a lot of problems with the start/stop. Which I realize it was partly my fault for not locking my doors when I parked in my garage (which now I know that it drains the battery). Instead of changing my battery, (which was still under warranty), my advisor told me that he will charge the main battery all day. It was really difficult for me to leave an come back, since I wasn’t offered a loaner car. So I was there for 5 hours while they charged the main battery. That worked for one day and it stopped working again. Every time I took the car to get regular maintenance, I told my advisor that I am still having trouble with the start/stop, he kept telling me that, there are certain conditions that need to be met in order for the start/stop to work. This feature is very important to me. In fact, at the time of purchase I made sure that it was included.. Adding insult to injury:. I was told at my last visit about the Start/Stop, that the car needs new break pads. At this point I was so frustrated, that I followed my instincts. I decided to cancel my appointment. Worried about the break pads, I made an appointment at another dealer’s service department. After the inspection, I was told that the measurements for the break pads are within normal limits. They said, “I don’t want to sell you breaks, because you don’t need them. ”. I am shocked and appalled with the way I was treated at Rickenbaugh.. Due to the above reasons, I will not be purchasing my next Volvo from this dealer.. Update:. I have changed my review from 2 to 3 stars. The VP of Rickenbaugh contacted me directly to discuss my issues, and was very empathetic, even though I was very angry and frustrated. He has done a good job of rectify the situation. He promptly spoke to the service department to check my records and he came to pick up my car and brought me a loaner. He called me to update me on what was going on with the car. He explained exactly why I needed new breaks and I agree 100%. The start/stop issue was resolved after the main battery was changed. He made me aware of my rights as a customer. I did not know that my car can be picked from any location and a loaner brought to me. I also got reassigned to another advisor who is very attentive.

Seamless purchasing experience, second to none customer service. Jake made this the easiest experience purchasing a vehicle that I’ve ever had. I would recommend Jake and this dealership for anyone looking for their next electric or non electric vehicle. Ten out of ten. I will be purchasing here in the future.

Message: By far the best auto service department I have ever worked with. I've serviced three different volvos here over the years. I've owned various different makes and models of cars and have used so many different auto shops. By far Rickenbaugh Volvo is on a level of its own, both because of their amazing customer service and professionalism as well as the high quality of their work.. They stand by their work, they are reasonable, and they try to help you solve problems. Also, prices aren't bad. Of course you pay for quality and for the fact that it's a Volvo auto service, but their prices are comparable to other regular autoshops, except their quality is much better.. I've worked with various people through the years here and every single one has been professional and attentive! Would never service my Volvo anywhere else.

Message: Rickenbaugh gets 10/10. I have worked with this dealer since I moved to Colorado in 2019 and they have made everything from service, to purchasing seamless. All the staff is responsive, and respectful. Huge thanks to the service time for always being timely and well educated. Thank you so much to Tami Maddy, Nick Pacifico and Ron for being welcoming and professional. I live closer to another Volvo dealer but they do not even remotely compare. I am a forever Volvo customer, and part of that is the customer service. Well done!
